Happens during the International Film Festival in Guadalajara , Mexico, the VIII Ibero American Film Coproduction between 4 and 6 March 2012. The first event of the meeting is the Open Talent Pitching an initiative in collaboration with the Talent Campus Guadalajara , where five Latin American projects were selected for presentation to film industry professionals, grant funds, international producers seeking co-productions, well as international buyers and sellers. The Brazilian "Barefoot Man" Camila Agustini and Leonardo Ayres is among those selected. Camila and Leonardo met while studying at the Escuela Internacional de Cine y Televisión (EICTV) in San Antonio de Los Baños, Cuba. In three years, each one wrote, produced, directed or acted in more than 20 short. Camilla signed the script of "La Noche del Circo Last Sin Future" project to full-length winner of the first category Nuevas Miradas Festival del Nuevo Cine Latinoamericano, held in Cuba in 2010. Leonardo went "Bar Station," a film shown at festivals such as the River and It’s All True. The other projects selected were the Mexicans "Sin Clemencia," Gabriela López Cortés, "Dios no Estaba Ahi," the Itandehui Esmeralda Perez, "Reina Reyes," Luis Fernando Gutierrez, Costa Rican and "Casi Blue", by Marcelo Quesada. One of the projects participants will receive the support of the Churubusco studios, which consist mainly of production services and post-production, varying between 500,000 and 1.5 million Mexican pesos, as stipulated by the company. In the Open Talent Pitching, the VIII Ibero American Film Coproduction will feature Christine Tröstrum, project manager of the Berlinale Talent Campus, presenting the project "Berlinale Residency," which is to offer the six directors who have already had a film aired at international festivals the opportunity to spend four months Berlin thinking about the next film project, aided by mentors and marketing experts of the film industry. The VIII Meeting of Ibero American Film Coproduction main goal is to put in direct contact with 30 Latin American projects in developing audiovisual industry professionals, producers, buyers and sellers internationally. "Sons of the Track" ("Hijos de la Route"), co-production between Brazil and Mexico led by Leon Serment, and "Carrot" ("carrot"), coproduction Uruguay / Argentina / Brazil, directed by Enrique Buchichio are among the projects selected. The Mexican Serment Leon is responsible for the comedy "El Efecto Tequila", 2010, and "Kada Kien Su Karma", 2008. The Uruguayan Enrique Buchichio wrote and directed the film "El Cuarto Leo", 2009, displayed at the 14th Film Festival Gay and Lesbian Lisbon in 2010, and the short "Fría Noche" and "En La Plaza."
